About

Our Mission

Dedicated to artistic excellence and cultural connection, the Association serves as a vibrant platform where musicians of diverse genres and generations come together to create, perform, and inspire.

Through meaningful performances, educational initiatives, and humanitarian outreach, we strive to use the transformative power of music to enrich communities, nurture emerging talent, and foster enduring cultural dialogue.

Founded in 1964, the Association emerged from a shared vision among pioneering Korean musicians in Southern California to build a lasting artistic home within a multicultural landscape.

Over decades of evolving musical expression and community engagement, it has grown into a respected cultural institution — bridging tradition and innovation while strengthening artistic exchange between Korean heritage and the broader global arts community.

Today, its legacy continues through generations of artists who carry forward a commitment to excellence, collaboration, and meaningful cultural contribution.

What We Do

The Association presents a dynamic range of artistic programs that celebrate the depth and diversity of musical expression.
From orchestral and choral festivals to new music forums, mentorship master classes, and community-centered performances, our initiatives create spaces where artists and audiences connect in profound and memorable ways.

By commissioning new works, supporting young musicians, and engaging in charitable and humanitarian projects, we extend music beyond the stage — cultivating artistic growth while bringing hope and unity to communities locally and around the world.
